Have you ever sat through a meeting and thought, "Why am I wasting my time?" Or, have you been in a meeting during which the agenda is high-jacked by one (or a few) "loud voices"? Or, have you attended a meeting that became contentious and wondered, "What do I do now?" In addition to reviewing open meeting requirements, this workshop will enable you to address all of the above issues and more! As Extension educators, we are often invited to host and/or participate in meetings, which also gives us the opportunity to shape the outcomes of these meetings and their impact on our communities. Educators are encouraged to invite community members that would also benefit from this training.
