Is there a community or local government system near you that has *no* presence on the Internet? Or, do they have a website that looks like it was built in 1992? What does this say about them? In today's information age, creating and maintaining a useful website is crucial for virtually all components of economic development , attracting new residents, providing information for tourists, business recruitment, etc. This session describes a recently developed curriculum for extension educators that helps communities and governments think through what they want on their website AND demonstrates how to actually build a low-cost working community website without any technical knowledge.
