These webinars are designed to expose county and district educators to the programs CRD specialists and educators are delivering. Join us the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except in November, in which case the webinar will be the 2nd Wednesday) at 9 am on the Zoom meeting platform (meeting id: 5861341033) for a 30 minute Q & A session about CRD programs. Each month will feature a new program that can be delivered in your county and/or district. This month we talk to Keima Kamara, Extension's Solid Waste Management Specialist

This in-service will provide educators with an in depth look at economic development strategies for communities within their counties. After covering the basics of economic development strategies, the workshop will provide the educators participating with particular programs and resources to empower them to address economic development issues. Data, both sources of and how to interpret them, will be used throughout build educators' capacity in using data to justify projects and grants that support economic development in your community. Educators are encouraged to bring a laptop so they can bookmark useful websites for later use. Also, educators are welcome to invite community partners to attend this in-service.

This month will feature a discussion the library hotspot lending program to encourage broadband adoption, especially in rural and/or low-income areas.
